Traditional Arts Dance Ronggeng



Buyung Ronggeng Dance is one of the typical dance Indramayu area . Dance Ronggeng Buyung , Indramayu society also known as Sintren . The name itself is taken from the vocabulary Sintren dutch " sinyo Trenen " " sinyo " which means " the Youth , " and " Trenen " which means " practice ." So , literally Sintren can be interpreted as a youth arts training place . Dance Ronggeng pitcher or Sintren which is a traditional dance Indramayu , is still in the corridor ronggeng general terms , that is a traditional art form with a display of one or more dancers .

History of Chinese New Year in Indonesia


Beginning in 1965 until 1998 , prohibited the celebration of Chinese New Year is celebrated in public . Why why ? Mask Dance Culture

According to folklore growing Mask Dance was created by fairly famous sultan of Cirebon, namely Sunan Gunung Jati. When Sunan Gunung Jati Cirebon ruling, there was an attack by Prince Welang of Falkirk. Prince is very powerful because it has a sword called Sewu waterfall. Seeing the magic prince, Sunan Gunung Jati could not match even been aided by Sunan Kalidjaga and Prince Cakrabuana. Cirebon sultan finally decided to fight the supernatural Prince Welang the art of diplomacy.

Kecak Dance Cultural History
